Slovenia, Piran, August 7th – 10th, 2008 This August (7th – 10th) was a very memorable month for the Christian singles of Europe. TO FIND, FORGE, AND RENEW: a singles' retreat was the first of its kind in Slovenia as well as Europe. Nova Gorica is the town that hosted disciples from 10 different countries. We saw many of our lives rejuvenated spiritually as well as physically. To find, forge, and renew our relationships with each other and our Father was and it continues to be our dream and goal. On Saturday (August 9th) we gathered together in Piran - a scenic town on the Adriatic coast. There 11 brave swimmers together with some of the sponsors and group of volunteers used the unique opportunity to help those less privileged through a HOPE worldwide swimming event called Great Adriatic Swim Challenge. Money that is still continue to be raised will be donated to children suffering from cancer. News and reports are available on monthly bases.
